Tatro Earns Little East Conference Rookie of the Week Honors

LITTLE EAST CONFERENCE OFFICIAL RELEASE

SALEM, Mass. - For the second time this year, Salem State men's lacrosse student-athlete James Tatro (Byfield, Mass.) was named the Little East Conference (LEC) Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference Monday afternoon. 

Last week, Tatro played a key part in Salem's 16-8 LEC win at Vermont State Castleton on Saturday, March 28. In the victory, Tatro guided the offense, tying his career-high in goals with six while also chipping in two ground balls and two caused turnovers. Tatro currently leads the conference in goals per game at 3.80. 

Coming up for Tatro and the Vikes this week, the squad hosts Husson University on Wednesday, April 1, at 7:00 p.m. The next day, Salem heads up to Thomas College on Thursday, April 2, for a 5:30 p.m. start time. Finally, the Vikes cap off the week with a home contest versus Eastern Connecticut State on Saturday, April 4, at noon.
