Vittands Named LEC Offensive Player of the Week
SALEM, Mass. - Salem State men's lacrosse student-athlete Connor Vittands (Gloucester, Mass.) was named the Little East Conference (LEC) Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference Monday afternoon.
Last week, Vittands helped Salem State go 2-0 by scoring eight goals with four assists for 12 total points. He tallied a season-high five goals with one helper in the 26-6 win at MCLA before he tied his season-high of three assists while also scoring three goals in a 19-8 win versus Mt. St. Vincent. He also totaled five ground balls last week, including three in the win against the Dolphins.
Vittands and the Vikings kick off a three-game road trip when the squad heads to Rivier University on Tuesday, March 17, for a 4:00 p.m. contest. The squad then caps off the week at Keene State on Saturday, March 21, at 1:00 p.m.
