Tramonte Named MASCAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week

SALEM, Mass. - For the second time this season, sophomore Matt Tramonte (Tewksbury, Mass.) was named the MASCAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference. 

Last weekend at the Bowdoin Invitational, Tramonte led the Vikings with a seventh-place finish, posting a total score of 146 (+2) and a 72 (E) on the final day of the Invitational. On the second day, Tramonte posted three birdies for Salem State. Throughout the first 11 holes on day one, Tramonte recorded a par on each of the courses.

Tramonte and Salem State will have some much-deserved time off before returning to action on Saturday, October 11, at the Skidmore Invitational in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
