Andrew Gummow Named Interim Head Baseball Coach

SALEM, Mass. --  Salem State Athletic Director Nicolle Wood has announced that assistant coach Andrew Gummow has been elevated to interim head coach for the 2023 baseball season. Gummow is entering his second season as a member of the Vikings' staff, and takes on his new role following the departure of head coach Jason Falcon.

"Andrew has been a valuable asset to the Viking baseball team since he joined the staff last year, and will help lead the program through this coaching transition. His knowledge of the game, recruiting experience, and previous work with the team will help the program continue to grow and succeed this spring."

A four-year catcher and former captain at Keene State, Gummow is currently the head coach and catching coach for Vikings Baseball (17U).
