Nicholas Rector Named MASCAC Rookie of the Week

Salem, Mass. -- Freshman pitcher Nicholas Rector (Fr., P, Mantua, N.J.) was named the GEICO MASCAC Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 17 in an announcement by the conference. Rector threw five innings of one-hit ball, allowing just a run with five strikeouts and four walks in earning his second win of the season as Salem State defeated Bridgewater State, 4-1, in the second game of their scheduled doubleheader.
