Connecticut College improves to 5-4-2 on the year while the Vikings slip 5-8-1.

The Beacons improve to 3-4 on the year and 2-3 in the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) while the Vikings fall to 2-3 on the season and 2-3 in conference. UMass Boston pulled away late, scoring four of their goals in the third period.
SALEM, Mass. - Kylie Currier (Middleton, Mass.) and Jacqueline Sindoris (Charlestown, Mass.) combined for four goals and an assist as Salem State rallied to a 6-4 come from behind win over the Suffolk Rams on Saturday afternoon on “Military Appreciation Day” at Rockett Arena. Danielle Kelley’s (Charlestown, Mass.) go-ahead goal with 1:22 left helped the Vikings improve to 2-2 on the season and in the New England Hockey Conference. The Rams fall to 3-3 on the season and 1-1 in the NEHC.

HENNIKER, N.H.— Sarah Plourde (Hooksett, N.H.) made 28 saves on 29 shots in her first start of the year, but the New England College women's ice hockey earned their first win of the 2018-19 season with a 1-0 victory over Salem State University in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) play. The Pilgrims improve to 1-3 overall on the season with a 1-1 record in the NEHC. Salem State will fall to 0-2 on the season with a 0-2 record in the NEHC.
Head Coach Malcolm Spurling enters his second season at the helm of the Salem State women’s ice hockey program. The Vikings finished last season 6-16-2 and in seventh place in the Colonial Hockey Conference (2-9-1). This season Salem State will begin play in the New England Hockey Conference, which features some of the top women’s teams in the region, including defending national champion Norwich.
