Castleton beat Endicott 55-51 earlier in the day.

SALEM, Mass. -- Camila Casanueva’s (Santa Barbara, Calif.) game-high 30 points (10-15) led the Brandeis Judges (2-3) past the Salem State Vikings 74-61 on Tuesday evening at Twohig Gymnasium. Casanueva also grabbed eight rebounds, had 6 steals, and went 5-8 (63%) from behind the arc.
WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. -- Kia Fernandes (Wareham, Mass.) scored 14 points and added nine rebounds, but a late surge by Skidmore propelled the Thoroughbreds to a 55-51 win over Salem State on the second day of the Williams College Invitational. The Vikings (0-4) held a 43-36 lead with 7:15 remaining in the fourth quarter, but Skidmore (1-3), used a 19-8 run to hold off the Vikings. With the game tied 49-49 with 3:21 left, Salem State was held to just one field goal as the Thoroughbreds held on for a four-pint victory.

New head coach Bobby Verdun takes over in 2018 and inherits a team that reached the quarterfinals round of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) tournament last year. Salem State was 9-17 overall in 2017-18 and 5-7 in the MASCAC.
