Tatro Named Little East Conference Rookie of the Week

LITTLE EAST CONFERENCE OFFICIAL RELEASE

SALEM, Mass. - Salem State men's lacrosse student-athlete James Tatro (Byfield, Mass.) was named the Little East Conference (LEC) Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference Monday afternoon. 

Last week, Tatro played a key part in Salem's 27-5 triumph at Anna Maria College on Saturday, March 7. In the win, Tatro guided the offense with a game-high six assists while also chipping in two goals in his collegiate lacrosse debut. The sophomore also had three ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.

Coming up for Tatro and the Vikes this week, the squad wraps up its road trip with a contest at MCLA on Wednesday, March 11, at 6:00 p.m. Capping off the week, Salem hosts Mt. St. Vincent for its home opener on Saturday, March 14, at 1:00 p.m.
