    SALEM, Mass. -- Rory Garlasco (Wayne, N.J.) goal and assist helped push the Connecticut Camels to defeat the Salem State Vikings 4-1 at Richard H. Rockett Arena on Tuesday. The Camels improve to 2-4-1 on the season and Vikings slip to 3-6-1.

    SALEM, Mass. -- Salem State and Southern Maine skated to a 1-1 tie on Tuesday evening in a game that was rescheduled from a week ago. Sean Cleary (Barnstable, Mass.) made 24 saves for the Vikings who are now 2-5-1 on the season. Goaltender Anthony D’Aloisio (Frisco, Texas) stopped 22 shots for the Huskies, who now stand at 1-5-2.

    BEVERLY, Mass. -- Brody Heleno (Mississauga, Ontario) tallied his first goal of the season, but Endicott scored six unanswered goals enroute to a 7-1 victory over Salem State at Raymond J. Bourque Arena on Sunday. The Gulls improve to 4-3-1 while the Vikings go to 2-5.

    SALEM, Mass. - Goalie Olivier Lacroix’s (Montreal, Quebec) splendid performance of 28 saves propelled the Salem State Vikings over the Fitchburg State Falcons 2-1 at Richard H. Rockett Arena on Saturday. The Vikings move to 3-4 on the season and 3-3 in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) and the Falcons slip to 2-4-2 on the year and 1-2-2 in the conference.

    SALEM, Mass - Matt Volonnino’s (Hackettstown, N.J.) hat-trick and assist led the Plymouth State Panthers’ to an 8-1 win over the Salem State Vikings on Thursday evening at Rockett Arena. The eight goals are the most the Panthers have scored this season. Plymouth State remains undefeated on the season improving their record to 5-0-1 and 3-0-1 in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) while the Vikings dip to 1-4 on the year and 1-3 in conference.

    NEW BEDFORD, Mass. – Salem State junior goalie Sean Cleary (Barnstable, Mass.) submitted a 26-save effort in between the posts for the visitors to back a three-goal middle period to sink UMass Dartmouth, 3-1, at Hetland Arena on Thursday evening. The Vikings grabbed their first MASCAC victory of the campaign while the Corsairs still seek their first triumph of the young season.

  • Men's Ice Hockey Picked Fourth in MASCAC Pre-Season Poll

    WESTFIELD, Mass. --  Salem State was picked fourth in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference pre-season poll, receiving 18 points in a vote by the league's coaches. Plymouth State was picked first after receiving five first place votes. 
  • Six Vikings Named AHCA All-American Scholars

    SALEM, MASS. -- The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) recognized six Salem State hockey players as Krampade All-American Scholars for the 2017-18 season. Forwards Dan Campbell (Waterloo, Ontario), Mackenzie Cook (Reading, Massachusetts), Connor Irving (Beverly, Massachusetts), Brandon Wolfe (Granger, Indiana), goaltender Trevor Hawkes (Hoffman Estates, Illinois) and defensman Aleksi Mustaniemi (Vihti, Finland) were honored for academic excellence.
