Jenkins, who was named the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference player of the year, averaged 17.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. The NEWBA has become a great tradition and a memorable way for many seniors to finish their collegiate careers. The 2009-10 MASCAC second-team all-conference squad was highlighted by two Salem State players. Senior forward Chris MacInnis (Waltham, MA), and defenseman Sam Cannata (Bozeman, MT) each earned conference honors and were joined by Westfield State&rsquo;s Casey Mignone, Framingham State&rsquo;s Joe Hurley and Worcester State&rsquo;s Mark Rintel at forward. The Vikings finished in second place behind Fitchburg State in the conference with an 11-3-4 record and 13-8-4 overall. Salem State will host the winner of the quarter-final game between  No. 3 seed Plymouth State and No.6 seed Worcester State in a semi-final match on Thursday night at 7:00 PM.
