Buzzards Bay, Mass. — Nearly 340 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Spring 2010 All-Academic Team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.

Student-athletes that compete in championship varsity sports offered by each of the eight MASCAC institutions during the course of the recently completed Spring 2010 academic semester and have achieved a 3.20 cumulative or semester-based grade point average during the semester are eligible for selection to the Spring All-Academic Team. The conference recently changed its format for announcing its All-Academic Team, as the MASCAC will now honor student-athletes for their achievements in the classroom on three occasions during the course of the academic year in the fall, winter and spring.
