Buzzards Bay, Mass. -- Salem State College freshman forward Nick Lampson (Groton, Mass.) was tabbed as the 2009-10 MASCAC Rookie of the Year after netting 16 goals and 12 assists for a team-best 28 points during his inaugural collegiate campaign. The 2009-10 MASCAC second-team all-conference squad was highlighted by two Salem State players. Senior forward Chris MacInnis (Waltham, MA), and defenseman Sam Cannata (Bozeman, MT) each earned conference honors and were joined by Westfield State’s Casey Mignone, Framingham State’s Joe Hurley and Worcester State’s Mark Rintel at forward. Fitchburg State defenseman Pat Dolan as well as UMass Dartmouth goalie Jon Dryjowicz-Burek also made the team.

Plymouth State University senior forward Chris Chambers was named as the 2009-10 Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference Men’s Ice Hockey Player of the Year and heads the league’s all-conference squad in a vote taken of the conference’s seven coaches. A native of Crofton, Md., Chambers led the MASCAC in overall scoring during regular season play with 17 goals and 25 assists for 42 points for the Panthers, as he was named as a semi-finalist for the prestigious Joe Concannon Award by the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston.
 
Fitchburg State College’s Dean Fuller was honored by his peers as the 2009-10 MASCAC Coach of the Year after leading the Falcons to 18 victories overall, including a 14-4 slate in league play, and their first conference regular season title since the 1988-89 season. 

Chambers was joined on the 2009-10 MASCAC first-team all-conference squad by Fitchburg State’s Andrew Hutton and Westfield State’s Dennis Zak at forward, Plymouth State teammate Richie Zobak and Fitchburg State’s Chris Brecken on defense as well as Fitchburg State’s Robert Vorse in goal.

- A four-year starter for the Salem State golf program.
      - Named co-captain in both his junior and senior years.
- Named an NCAA All-American in 2009.
- Was recognized as one of the top 25 golfers in the country by the NCAA.
- Has won individual championships at six collegiate tournaments
- Won the 2009 Guy Tedesco Award as the top collegiate golfer in New England.
 - A Dean’s List student who carries a 3.3 grade point average in Business Administration.
- Has provided countless hours to junior golf programs as both a mentor and instructor.

- A four-year starter for the Salem State women’s basketball program.
      - Named co-captain in both her junior  
      and senior years.
- Finished her career as the school’s second all-time leading scorer with 1664 points.
- Was the team’s leading scorer, rebounder and shot blocker the past three years.
- Named the 2010 MASCAC women’s basketball player of the year.
- A Three-time first team ALL-MASCAC selection.
- Named to the 2010 All-New England women’s basketball second team.
- She finished her career as one of the greatest all-round player s in Salem State’s history.
