Brian Clark Named to All-MASCAC First Team

Buzzards Bay, Mass. — Sophomore forward Brian Clark has been named to the 2009-10 Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball all-conference first team in a vote taken of the conference’s seven coaches.
The Deerfield, Mass native led Salem State with a 14.9 points per game average. Clark, who started all 26 games for the Vikings also averaged 5.2 rebounds per game and tied for the team-lead in blocked shots with 12.
Bridgewater State College junior forward Nicholas Motta was named as the 2009-10 Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Year and Westield State College freshman center Matt Devine (Pembroke, Mass.) was tabbed as the 2009-10 MASCAC Rookie of the Year.
Motta was joined on the 2009-10 MASCAC first-team all-conference squad by Worcester State’s Maurice Horton, Framingham State’s Josue Almodovar, MCLA’s Jon Greenberg and Clark.
Devine was joined on the 2009-10 MASCAC second-team all-conference squad by Bridgewater State’s Judah Jackson and Matt McLaughlin, MCLA’s Chris Harris and Framingham State’s Darius Yarrell.
