Framingham, Mass. — The Framingham State College men’s basketball team used an 8-0 run over the final 1:30 of the game to defeat the Salem State College Vikings 78-70 in one Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men’s Basketball Tournament Semifinal game tonight at Framingham’s Athletic Center. With the win the Rams improve to 16-9 on the year and advance to the finals of the MASCAC Tournament where they will face top seed Bridgewater State, who defeated Worcester State in the other semifinal tonight, in Bridgewater on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Vikings finish their season at 11-16.

- A four-year starter for the Salem State golf program.
      - Named co-captain in both his junior and senior years.
- Named an NCAA All-American in 2009.
- Was recognized as one of the top 25 golfers in the country by the NCAA.
- Has won individual championships at six collegiate tournaments
- Won the 2009 Guy Tedesco Award as the top collegiate golfer in New England.
 - A Dean’s List student who carries a 3.3 grade point average in Business Administration.
- Has provided countless hours to junior golf programs as both a mentor and instructor.

- Finished her career as the school’s second all-time leading scorer with 1664 points.
- Was the team’s leading scorer, rebounder and shot blocker the past three years.
- Named the 2010 MASCAC women’s basketball player of the year.
- A Three-time first team ALL-MASCAC selection.
- Named to the 2010 All-New England women’s basketball second team.
- She finished her career as one of the greatest all-round player s in Salem State’s history.
